Food came out quickly but flavor was not all there. Also had fried rice.

The only reason I'm not giving a 5 star is the construction around the place makes it difficult to easily get to. Sushi quality and selection good for this part of the country, bartenders and staff have always been friendly with indoor and outdoor seating (which overlooks the plaza courtyard). Prices aren't bad. Good selection of booze and wine. Owner takes pride in quality of the fish and seafood. It's a favorite of mine here in Charlotte.

I had the garlic tofu and chicken which was very good I'm going to try the Korean beef next. The Tom yum soup was just okay and I would not recommend it. Flash forward to August 2022. I had the 18-piece sashimi plate which was absolutely phenomenal. Portions were a bit on the small side but the sashimi with sushi grade at its best. I also have the Tom Yum soup with shrimp which was excellent too. Would definitely go back.

Jamal is the best bartender in clt! He made me a delicious drink on the fly and named it "The Basil Jess" . Funny, personable, and very kind! The food was delicious. My favorite thing was the pan-seared Gyoza. I'll be back soon!

I really don’t like eating indoors during the pandemic but my mother and fiancé wanted to try this place out. I’m glad I tried it, the food was phenomenal and the staff was nice. The food came out in a timely matter. I will definitely be back. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the staffs didn’t have on gloves, if it wasn’t a pandemic, it wouldn’t have bothered me

HIDDEN GEM! We live close and I always forget about this spot. Went up on a Thursday evening and it was not busy. The sushi rolls were AMAZING. So fresh and flavorful. The King Toro (top right] was our favorite, highly recommend. Bottom right was Big Tuna and next to that was Yellowtail fantasy. The Yellowtail was perfect served with ponzu. If you're in Ballantyne area don't miss Jade.

My husband and I have been coming to Jade for years and it is one of our favorite restaurants. I have never had better sushi anywhere - the Cherry Blossom is amazing! If you order it, you will thank me! Also maybe try the El Toro. The Dim Sum is also a great appetizer. The service is not as great lately as it once was, but the quality of the sushi makes up for a lot!
